Here's a cocktail from The Barefoot Contessa that's sure to make a happy party!!

Pink Grapefruit Margaritas

1 lime cut in wedges
kosher salt
1 cup ruby red grapefruit juice
1/2 cup fresh squeezed lime juice (4 limes)
1 cup triple sec orange liqueur
3 cups ice
1 cup white tequila

salt the rim of your glasses. combine the grapefruit juice, lime juice, triple sec, and ice ina blender & puree until smooth. pour into a large pitcher & stir in tequila If you're not serving the margaritas in salted glasses, stir 1/4 teaspoon of salt into the pitcher of margaritas...it will make a difference. serves 6

Decided to take a day to explore the beauty of near-by Savannah, Georgia. It has been several years since my last visit and I thoroughly enjoyed my day. The beauty of this old city never ceases to amaze me!

Houston Lake at Sunset

Enjoyed a wonderful evening this week at the Sunset Social at Houston Lake Country Club. The weather was absolutely perfect and the friends were delightful! After the sun dropped down we tasted a wonderful meal and then retreated home to Elko! Life is good in middle Georgia!
